What is Vehicle Tracking System?

Vehicle Tracking system is a typical combination of the hardware and software which enables the user to know each and every activity and the movement information, at any point of time, from anywhere and by any authorized users.

How GPS base tracking system works?

A vehicle tracking system using GPS obtain the location, speed, direction and time data made available via satellite from the Global Positioning System to the GPS receiver unit installed in your vehicle and transmits it to a central computer (Server) connected to a private GSM network or the Internet.

What is GPS?

GPS stands for the Global Positioning System. It refers to a coordination of satellites and receivers that permit inhabitants and devices to identify their accurate location on the earth.

When and how long does it take to install the unit in the vehicle?

We can do same-day or next-day installations in major cities but this will depend on how busy the available installation centre is. Installations of our vehicle tracking equipment typically takes about 30 minutes per vehicle. Weekend and after hours can be arraged at extra cots.

Where the device is installed?

It is a spy unit. There is no specific place and can be installed in any hidden place inside the vehicle.

How is the vehicle device powered?

The vehicle device is powered by the vehicle's battery.

Can I conceal the vehicle device from my drivers?

Our units are quite small and are always installed discretely. The vehicle device does not require any assistance from the driver.

What if somebody tampers with the vehicle device?

The vehicle device has functions to alert you of such situations. If the vehicle battery power is diconnected, it will send you an alert (Email, Push Alert from the App). If our Application Server does not receive data from the vehicle device, we alert you about this via email, app push notifications or onscreen alerts.

Can this device do any harm to my vehicle or affect it's performance in anyway?

No, installation of this device does not affect your vehicle, it's performance or any other system installed in your vehicle.

Is there a warranty for the vehicle device?

Yes, there is a one year warranty on the vehicle device. However, incase the device is tampered with or reinstalled without the services of our trained personnel, the warranty will fall away.

How do I see the location of my vehicle?

No software is required to be downloaded or installed for this. All you need is an Internet connection and a PC. You will login to our web application using the Internet browser from any PC or from our mobile application to see the vehicle location on a digital map. The web application and the mobile application are extremely user friendly and will have you up-and-running within seconds.

What is a Geo Fence?

A Geo fence is a virtual boundary defined around a location or area on the Earth's surface. The existing location of an asset is evaluated with the boundary and an alert triggered on entry or exit of your goe fence immediately

Where can you do installations?

We perform installations at your premises at no additional cost. We can do installations in most major cities South Africa. Remote areas will result in travelling costs

Do I get all the features described on the website as part of my monthly fee?

Yes, your monthly fee covers all the features seen on our website, Unlimited use of all the features is included with the price for the respective duration paid for.

Is anyone able to remove the tracking unit from my vehicle easily?

Our unit is installed in a way that makes it very difficult to find. Taking into account that each vehicle is different, our installer will find a hidden position that works in your vehicle best
